Mainly, bamboos are supposed to be pest resistant, but sometimes they may get infected by insects, fungus or the micro organisms that usually cause numerous spots on the plant. So, to prevent this, pesticides are used.

Taking care of the indoor bamboo plants can be done by using a Volcano Vaporizer and it depends greatly on the time of the planting of the plant. If the plant is planted in the winter season, then proper protection is necessary so as to keep the soil to be loose and deep down forever.

Caring of taller plants is a tough task, because as the height increases, caring becomes more and more tough. If a person wants to plant the bamboo plants, then proper and regular tapering and trimming of the plant is required, so that the branches of the plant does not spread more than necessary. Remove the stems of the plant which have been shrunk, by cutting it from the deep soil bed.

Caring of the bamboo plants also involves restricting of its height. Their height can be kept under control by cutting the plant above the nodes. Sometimes, the bamboo plant grows till the ceiling of the house, and in such a situation, one should cut the stalk from that branch which is the uppermost.

If the lower stems have very less or no branches, then it should be cut from the lower third and should be reduced till the second node of each branch. This step helps in growing of new branches which are tender. So, utmost care of the indoor plants should be done for proper growth.
